Kids take World Heritage sites to the web

The Department of Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts has launched a student competition to build a website which profiles Australia’s World Heritage sites.  The campaign aims to raise awareness of Australia’s seventeen world heritage sites and develop heritage values within young people.

Willett Marketing developed the campaign for DEWHA which was designed to bring the education process into the medium most used by kids today.

Willett brokered a partnership with Microsoft who developed specific templates for the competition on their DreamSpark web builder program which is available free to schools.

The competition couples with education resources and a classroom poster provided to schools.
