Account Manager - Digital

The Digital Account Manager is responsible for the professional delivery of Willett Marketing services to digital clients reporting to the Creative and Digital Strategist.  

Primary areas of responsibility and focus are:

• Day to day management of digital client accounts as assigned

Key Duties

Administration/Client Relations

• Project manage creation of digital assets and content from start to finish under the direction of the Creative and Digital Strategist 

• Prepare for and participate in client meetings, continuously communicate with clients and manage their expectations

• Maintain project management documentation: WIP, Contact Reports, Schedules, Budgets at weekly “Work In Progress” meetings or on a frequency as determined by client

• Coordinate support personnel both externally and internally to achieve project outcomes

• Ensure that all work is produced on time and within budget with a view to minimising costs to client

• Respond to ad hoc inquiries from client and be agile in your working approach

• Attend events as necessary and coordinate external suppliers such as videographers and photographers  

Digital 

• Develop understanding of client objectives, audiences and business

• Help initiate, develop and present creative, digital and social media strategies to meet client program objectives/briefs

• Execute reporting and evaluation systems, including analysis of campaign to deliver key learnings and executive summary, to update and inform client of the status of campaigns as required 

• Ensure that all partner social media reflects client’s brand appropriately and vice versa

• Research and prepare content for campaigns and programs across social media, working with graphic designer to ensure best-in-class outcomes 

• Recommend social and digital advertising buying strategies, oversee the set-up of social media ads 

• Maintain knowledge of best practice in a constantly changing digital field  

• Assist in undertaking consumer, competitor and category research in the online environment  

Creative

• Contribute to Agency ideation

• Contribute to Agency creative strategy

• Support new business proposals

Key Selection Criteria

• Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to prioritise and work in a high pressured environment

• Interpersonal skills adaptable to both team members and clients 

• Strong written, verbal and creative skills, with attention to detail 

• Creative thinker and problem solving skills

• Up to three years’ experience working with social media, execution and analysis 

• Self-starting attitude with eagerness to learn new skills 

• Qualification in marketing, media and communications, digital, social media or other relevant fields.
