In all its glory, the Peace Park was a place to gather, connect and inspire.

The annual Rotary International Convention was held in Melbourne this year, bringing peacebuilders and changemakers from around the world to embrace peacebuilding initiatives. The largest conference in Victoria this century, Rotary Internation Convention attracted over 14,000 Rotarians and peace builders from all corners of the world.

In partnership with the Rotary Action Group for Peace (RAGFP), The Jubitz Family Foundation (JFF) engaged Willett with a brief: to create an immersive and memorable experience that celebrates peace-building initiatives and builds awareness for Rotary.

A project of this scale required all Willett’s hands-on deck, seeing the project out from creative ideation and event identity, all the way to execution and management of the conference itself. We called on creatives, graphic designers, copywriters, events managers, logistics guru’s and content specialists.

The outcome? We present to you the Rotary Peace Park. Centered at the heart of the conference, it was the ultimate meeting place for all, not to mention it was hard to miss the 10-meter halo orbiting the park.

Every inch within the 15x15m exhibit served a different purpose, inviting attendees to embrace peace-building initiatives through interactive exhibits and engaging workshops that fostered thought-provoking conversations.

Everything but the kitchen sink, the space hosted a high in demand photo moment, peace portal, peace trees, peace crane folding stations, guest speakers, and we couldn’t miss peace pop o’clock
